Minecraft Windows 10 How To Play With Friends

One time you buy the game, yous will be able to play with your friends or other players online if you have the same version of Minecraft as the other players.

If your son is being blocked from playing multiplayer or tin can add friends. Kindly cheque his Xbox privacy settings and enable the multiplayer and add together friends options. Please follow the steps below

1. log in your Microsoft account to xbox.com
2. One time signed-in click your profile picture at the upper-correct corner. So select Xbox profile.
3. In the Xbox profile click the privacy settings
iv. In the Privacy & online safe highlight your son's contour and then click the "Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety" tab
five. Scroll down and look for the "You can join multiplayer games" and "You tin can add friends" pick then click allow to enable it. Click submit at the lesser of the page to save the setting.

Note: This is provided that your son is a fellow member of your family grouping. Otherwise, log in using his Microsoft account instead.

what does it hateful "if you have the same version"? Practice I need to check with the other users what version of Minecraft they are using outset? Are nosotros maxim that a Nintendo Switch user is not the same version every bit Windows ten on PC? Or what kind of version are nosotros talking near, can you requite examples of what is and what is not compatible?

It is all rather complicated, I am at present not sure whether I purchased the right version since we did non check with anyone.

Hi LasvelasUK,

In that location are two types of Minecraft that y'all can play on Windows PC. One is the Minecraft for Windows and the other is Minecraft Java Edition. And the version that tin can cross-platform with the Nintendo Switch is Minecraft for Windows.

If you purchased Minecraft from the Microsft shop, information technology is the Minecraft for Windows edition. And the Java edition is sold from the official Minecraft website.
